Sue Kujawa was the Executive Director of Mothers’ Club Family Learning Center for 25 years. During that time she guided the organization from a small, loosely organized support group for mothers and children to a nationally recognized model for promoting family literacy in low income families. She “retired” in 2011 and shortly thereafter learned about the Pasadena Village. She was drawn to its mission of helping people maintain their independence and also make strong, supportive connections in their later years. She is now the Executive Director of the Pasadena Village. Sue is a long-time resident of Altadena, mother of four sons and grandmother of two children. In her free time Sue enjoys traveling in the Southwest where she participates in archeology projects and attempts to learn more about geology.
