About Carol Calandra:

Carol holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling with an Option in Rehabilitation Services. She has served as the President of Veterans Club at both Pasadena City College (PCC) and California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) as well as numerous community advisory boards including the USC Cohen Military and Veterans Family Advisory Board. Carol frequently presents at state, local, and national levels on the importance of veteran supportive transition. Carol is the Veterans Case Manager at Pasadena City College and the founder of the Female Veterans “Band of Sister’s”. Carol teaches Veterans Transition and Veteran Culture in the Charter College of Education at CSULA. For her work with veterans, Carol has been named a Women of Distinction by both Congresswomen Judy Chu and Assemblyman Chris Holden for her work with veterans.
